100 Black Men of America

100 Black Men was founded as an organization in New York City in 1963. The Thunder Hill Park Alliance, a 501 (c ) 3 non profit organization was formed by a group of community leaders who were concerned about the outcome a 300 acre farm in the center of the new community, Columbia, Md. Columbia has grown to be one of the most successful new communities in the universe. Many of us have a long history in the development of this place. We formed a Park Alliance, received some money from a local Foundation and hired a world famous Children's Landscape Architect to come here and take a look. Thunder Hill Nature Park is his gift to our city.

Tumble Gym Bus

Tumble Gym Bus offers a mobile gymnastics program for preschool-aged children in San Diego. The classes INSIDE the bus are action-packed and fully-interactive, while promoting the importance of healthy living. Our curriculum teaches the fundamentals of gymnastics with music, dance and games.​​  We offer in-house field trips, birthday parties, play groups, weekly classes, and company events!

United for D.C.

United for D.C. is committed to champion educational, health, and recreational programs and events that serve disadvantaged youth of greater Washington, DC by engaging the resources and skills of D.C. United and our community. Through the foundations 3 signature programs, United Soccer Club, United Reads, and Kicks for Kids, area youth with little or no resources are able to participate in a free after school soccer program, receive both new books and a reading and healthy lifestyles program in the classroom, and have the opportunity to attend a D.C. United game at no cost.

United States Tennis Association

September is National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month and tennis is a great way to get your kids active! A USTA Free Tennis Play Day can serve as a great event to sample tennis with the extra excitement and benefit of the USTA’s association with Nickelodeon! Kids will have the opportunity to play tennis as well as participate in a variety of tennis skills activities. Play Days are designed to give kids additional court time in a fun, low-pressure, non-elimination setting where they can continue to develop and enhance their skills.

Youth Fitness Coalition

Youth Movement

Youth Movement is an initiative that was developed by the Health & Wellness Committee of the 100 Black Men, in 2002. This comprehensive youth program promotes health, fitness and mentoring to children ages 4 to 18. We sponsor year-round track and field clinics, health screenings, nutrition education, character development and life skills workshops. The goal of Youth Movement is to improve the health and well being of marginalized children, and to help insure their success.
