Campus Kitchens Project

Founded in 2001, The Campus Kitchens Project  is a national organization that empowers students to create innovative solutions to hunger. Each day our student volunteers recover extra food that would otherwise have gone to waste on campus, and transform it into healthy meals for food insecure individuals. Since the movement began, The Campus Kitchens Project has recovered more than 3.5 million pounds of food and served 2.25 million meals nationwide. Campus Kitchens also go beyond the meal by using food as a tool to promote poverty solutions and end hunger in their communities.
